Project Introduction:

The first natural gas processing plant in the Bagtyjiarlyk contract area on the right bank of the Amu Darya River in Turkmenistan is a key project of the Amu Darya River project, located in Block A of the Bagtyjiarlyk contract area. The entire processing plant covers an area of nearly 800000 square meters, with 315 kilometers of above ground and underground pipelines. During the construction process, a total of 73000 cubic meters of concrete, 8500 tons of steel structures, 1589 kilometers of electrical and instrumentation cables, 634 sets of large equipment, and 15000 sets of other equipment were used.

The Amu Darya River project will become the main gas supply source for the West East Gas Pipeline 2. Together with Turkmenistan's natural gas Kangcaien, it will provide 30 billion cubic meters of natural gas to the country every year, alleviate the contradiction between domestic natural gas supply and demand, reduce carbon emissions, and improve environmental quality. The construction of the railway project is of great significance for transporting sulfur from the processing plant, greatly reducing product transportation time and logistics costs.
