Project Introduction

The Amur Natural Gas Processing Plant project is one of the major key projects of Gazprom (Gazprom) to ensure the supply of natural gas to the East Line of the China Russia Gas Supply Agreement. After completion, the maximum annual natural gas processing capacity will reach 42 billion cubic meters, and 38 billion cubic meters of commercial gas can be produced annually to be transported to China, which is of great strategic significance for ensuring China's clean energy supply.

The project consists of two main components: the Siberian Power Natural Gas Pipeline and the Amur Natural Gas Processing Plant.

The Siberian Power Natural Gas Pipeline is a 3000 kilometer long pipeline that connects gas fields in East Siberia with the Chinese border. The design capacity of this pipeline is 38 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year, and it is expected to transport 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas to China in 2023, which will increase to 38 billion cubic meters by 2025.

The Amur State Natural Gas Processing Plant is a complex of six production lines that will process natural gas from the Siberian Power Pipeline before exporting it to China. The factory will extract valuable components from gases, such as ethane, propane, butane, pentane hexane fractions, and helium. The factory will also remove impurities such as carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, and water from the gas to meet the quality standards of the Chinese market.

The Amur Natural Gas Processing Plant is one of the largest and most advanced natural gas processing facilities in the world, with a designed capacity of 42 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 60 billion cubic meters of helium per year. The factory will become the world's largest helium producer, accounting for approximately 25% of the global helium supply.

Company participation in construction projects

We actively participated in the construction work of the second to fifth phases of the Amur Natural Gas Processing Plant project undertaken by China Petroleum Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. In this cooperation, we undertook the logistics service project for the campsite, the completion data project, and dispatched management and technical personnel and service operators for each position, providing solid support for the smooth progress of the project.
